But if I open your calendar, do I actually see them there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We say we want to grow as leaders &#8211; yet we fill our days with reaction instead of intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We claim to prioritize development &#8211; yet we don\u2019t block time to think, read, or plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We say people matter most &#8211; yet we let fires steal time from the very people who matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The calendar doesn\u2019t lie. It exposes priorities we talk about&#8230; but never live out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Silent Cheating We Don\u2019t Talk About<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Here\u2019s the punch in the gut!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we don\u2019t follow our own plan, we\u2019re not just cheating ourselves. We\u2019re cheating the people who trust us to show up as our best selves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I skip what\u2019s on my calendar &#8211; whether that\u2019s my prayer &amp; devotion time, workout, my meetings with the&nbsp;team, or my date nights &#8211; I\u2019m stealing from the future version of me that\u2019s counting on today\u2019s discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m cheating my team, because unclear leaders create uncertain followers.<br>I\u2019m cheating my family, because an exhausted, unfocused version of me isn\u2019t what they deserve. And I\u2019m cheating my calling, because inconsistency delays every blessing that was already on its way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Consistency Creates Trust. And Trust Creates Growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tony Robbins says \u201cAny time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consistency doesn\u2019t come from hype. It comes from a plan. Clarity doesn\u2019t come from intention. It comes from communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t lead what isn\u2019t planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t expect consistency from your team if you don\u2019t model it yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t expect clarity in others if your vision isn\u2019t scheduled into their weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Great leaders don\u2019t drift into growth &#8211; they calendar it right into each and every day! Or, they are so consistent with growth and development, they don&#8217;t even have to calendar it anymore!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Challenge for This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take 10 minutes today and open your calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I didn\u2019t know you and only saw your schedule, could I tell what you value?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the answer is no &#8211; fix it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not next month. Not next quarter. Today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The level of your leadership tomorrow depends on the level of your intentionality today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because what\u2019s in your calendar is what you do. And what you do becomes who you are.
